I got into design because I was equally bothered by things that looked wrong and things that felt wrong to use. That combination of bothered turned out to be a career.

I'm a Senior Experience Designer, previously at VML, a WPP agency, where I spent the past three years designing digital products and experiences for brands across FMCG, banking, real estate, retail, and healthcare.

Outside of work
I'm a full-time dispute mediator for my cat and my dog, a self-taught ukulele enthusiast, and someone who has strong opinions about sitting by the ocean. Currently also reading thrillers at a pace that suggests I have more free time than I do.

Some of the many qualities Shanaya has are listening attentively and learning from her peers. She actively participates in discussions and manages complex projects with ease. She is also open to feedback and promptly turns around amazing designs that are both functional and visually pleasing. I’m so happy to see her grow into a fantastic designer!
